The Easy-Up 3×3 m is a folding pop-up gazebo used as a weather cover for outdoor machine use and to create a cosy, sheltered space at events. Its accordion frame opens in about a minute. This manual covers safe set-up, anchoring, the sidewalls, taking it down and care.

Caution: this is a light, short-term shelter — it is NOT designed for heavy rain or strong wind. Always anchor it (sand weights, pegs and guy ropes); take it down in rising wind or storms and never leave it up unattended outdoors.

Product description

The Easy-Up 3×3 m is a portable pop-up gazebo (party tent) with a concertina (accordion) frame that springs open and locks to height in well under a minute. Made for Arcade supplies it as an entertainment cover — a quick weather shelter so your machines can be used outdoors, and a way to create a cosy, defined space at events, markets and parties. It comes with a roof and four sidewalls (one door panel, two window panels with roll-up covers, one solid panel), a carry bag, four sand/weight bags, ground pegs and guy ropes. Available in black or white.

Intended use

The gazebo is intended for short-term, supervised outdoor use (typically a single day) and for indoor or sheltered settings. It is a light shelter for shade, light weather and ambience — not a permanent structure. It must always be supervised by a competent adult while erected outdoors, anchored at all times, and taken down when not in use. Keep children clear during set-up and take-down.

Safety and risks

Before use, make sure everyone helping understands the risks and the gazebo’s limits:

  • Wind is the main hazard. The frame is light; an un-anchored or under-anchored gazebo can be lifted or blown over, causing injury or damage. Always fit all weights, pegs and guy ropes. Take it down immediately if wind picks up or a storm is forecast.
  • Not for heavy rain. The canopy is water-resistant for light rain only; water can pool on the roof — push pooled water off and do not shelter from storms under it.
  • Pinch points. The accordion frame and click-height legs have pinch/crush points — keep fingers clear of the joints while opening, raising and closing, and follow the steps below with at least two people for the first set-ups.
  • Do not modify the frame, hang heavy loads from it, or use it as a climbing frame.
  • Keep any powered machine’s cabling and the gazebo’s pegs/ropes arranged so they are not a trip hazard.

Unpacking

  1. Lay the carry bag down and open it; slide the folded frame and canopy out.
  2. Check the frame, canopy, pegs, ropes and weight bags are all present and undamaged.
  3. Choose a flat, firm surface clear of overhead obstructions.

Setting up (opening)

  1. With two people, stand the folded frame upright in the centre of the spot and pull the four legs apart until the frame is roughly half open.
  2. Lay the canopy over the top, line up the corners, and secure the roof to the frame corners and any hook-and-loop/velcro straps.
  3. Pull the legs fully apart until the roof braces click out straight.
  4. At each leg, press the click-button and raise the leg to the desired one of the four height positions until it locks.
  5. Attach the sidewalls as needed (door / window / solid) using their hook-and-loop or zip fastenings.

Anchoring (do this every time)

The gazebo must be secured before use:

  • Hang or fill the four weight bags on the legs.
  • On soft ground, drive the ground pegs through the foot plates.
  • Run the guy ropes from the top corners out to pegs at an angle and tension them.
  • On hard ground (no pegs possible), use additional weights — never rely on the frame’s own weight.

Taking it down (folding)

  1. Remove the sidewalls, weights, ropes and pegs.
  2. Release each leg’s click-button and lower all legs to the shortest position.
  3. Push the legs partly together so the roof braces unlock, then remove or loosen the canopy.
  4. Fold the frame fully closed, keeping fingers clear of the joints.
  5. Make sure the canopy is dry before packing (see care), then slide everything back into the bag.

Care and maintenance

Always pack the canopy dry — storing it damp causes mildew and staining. If it must be packed wet, unpack and air-dry it fully as soon as possible. Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap only; no solvents or pressure washers. Check the frame joints, click-buttons and stitching periodically and keep the moving joints free of grit. Store the folded gazebo in its bag in a dry place.

Precautionary measures

  • Always anchor the gazebo and never leave it erected outdoors unattended.
  • Take it down in strong wind, storms or heavy rain.
  • Do not place it over open flames, BBQs, heaters or other heat/ignition sources.
  • Keep emergency exits, fire extinguishers and walkways clear.
  • Do not exceed the four built-in height settings or otherwise modify the frame.
