A lot of the MadeforArcade machines feature a coin comparator / acceptor so you can have people use tokens or coins to play the games. Naturally you can set all machines to free play in the settings menu of the machine, but if you want to collect coins while other people are playing on your arcade you can activate the coin acceptor.

how to accept tokens / coins in your arcade machine
step 1 : place a coin
Our coin acceptors have a built in coin comparator. Simply slide the comparator open and insert a coin that is equal to the ones you want to collect from your players.
coins need to have a diameter between 20 and 29 millimeters
coins need to have a thickness between 1.2 and 2.5 millimeters
step 2 : start collecting coins
Yes, it is that simple. The built in comparator will only accept the type of coin you have inserted in the comparator. Only coins that match will create a credit and the coin will continue on to fall through the back slot of the coin acceptor into your money box.
different coins will fail
Coins that are of a different make, diameter or thickness will automatically fail and be rejected. Some coins will return immediately in the bottom coin rejector. Others will need to be released by pushing the rejected coin lever on the front of the coin acceptor. Either way the player does not get credits as the coin did not pass through the back slot signalling a valid credit.

The CH-926 is a programmable multi-coin selector that recognises up to six different coins or tokens simultaneously. It is widely used in vending machines, arcade games, massage chairs and other self-service equipment. Each coin is identified by its material, weight and diameter, and an advanced detection algorithm keeps the unit stable and accurate even as temperature and humidity change. 3Wiring & connections
The CH-926 connects through a four-wire harness. Connect the signal (white) and ground (black) wires to your coin counter or controller input.

4Setting the parameters
Each coin is configured in turn. During setup the LED display shows a single letter to indicate which parameter you are setting.
- Press and hold Add and Minus together for about three seconds. The display shows A.
- Press Setup once — the display shows E. Use Add / Minus to select how many coin types you want to use, then press Setup to confirm.
- H appears. Select how many sample coins you will insert later, then press Setup.
- P appears. Select the number of output pulses for this coin (maximum 50), then press Setup.
- F appears. Set the accuracy / tolerance from 1 to 30, where 1 is the most accurate. A value of 5–10 is suitable for most coins. Press Setup to confirm.
- The first coin is now configured. Repeat steps 3–5 for every remaining coin. When all coins are done, A appears again.
- Press Setup — the display shows E. Switch the power off and on again to save the settings.
5Sampling the coins
- Press Setup — the display shows A.
- Press Setup again — the display shows A1. Insert the sample coins for coin 1; the display counts each coin as it is inserted. A1 reappears when sampling for that coin is complete.
- Press Setup — the display shows A2. Sample coin 2 in the same way, and continue for any further coins.
- When all coins are sampled, press Setup. A appears. Switch the power off and on again — the selector is now ready for use.

7Troubleshooting

| Coins will not pass through | Confirm the wiring is correct and the connections are secure; check that the coins have been sampled correctly; make sure nothing is jammed inside the unit. |
| Output is not recognised | Confirm the two-way (NO / NC) switch is set correctly; check the signal wire is connected properly; make sure there is no pull-up resistor on the signal wire (not permitted); check that nothing is blocking the coin exit channel. |
