What is the biggest size object I can grab in a claw machine ?

All large claw machines are equipped with a universal claw that has a maximum opening of 200 mm in diameter.

This means that at least 1 part of your object needs to fit inside a ring that is 200 mm wide.

If the object is light enough it can be much larger than the claw’s opening.

When the claw is fully closed the maximum vertical opening is 115 mm.

Do note that in most cases the claw does not need to be fully closed as long as the edges of the claw fingers can grab on to something.

Having larger objects in your claw machine is usually not a problem.

As long as the weight does not exceed the maximum and the claw has somewhere (soft?) to grab on to you will be ok.

Examples of items that work just fine are : larger stuffed animals, t-shirts and other clothing (folded or rolled up) , caps (rolled) , fanny packs , balls etc.

The absolute maximum weight you should keep as the upper limit for your products in a claw machine is 300 grams.

300 grams is the weight you can put in a smooth and slippery capsule and still be able to lift it without the capsule slipping out of the claw.

If your object has rough surfaces or edges to grab on to the weight can be higher, but do note that extended use of heavier items may damage your claw machine over time.
