Power supply and surge protection
Arcade and entertainment machines are computer-controlled and contain sensitive electronics. Mains power at events, venues and even ordinary outlets is frequently unstable or “dirty” — voltage spikes, surges, sags and brown-outs, flicker, overloaded or shared circuits, generators, long extension runs and the switching of nearby equipment can all push the supply outside the machine’s safe operating range.
You must always connect the machine through a good-quality surge protector, and — wherever the supply is unreliable or the machine must not lose power unexpectedly — through an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). These sensitive machines cannot tolerate power spikes, surges, brown-outs or sudden cut-offs.
Damage, data loss or malfunction caused by power-supply problems is not covered by warranty. Failure to use adequate power protection can lead to machine malfunction and, in some cases, a risk of fire or bodily harm. If you are unsure about your power supply, consult a qualified electrician before use.
Duty cycle and cooling breaks
These machines are built for event and venue use, not uninterrupted operation. Their motors, power supplies, controllers and lighting generate heat, and running continuously lets that heat build up beyond the safe operating range. Do not run the machine continuously for more than 4 hours. After every 4 hours of use, switch it off completely for at least 10 minutes, by disconnecting the power supply, to let the components cool before resuming.
Overheating from exceeding this duty cycle can cause reduced performance, premature wear, component failure and, in some cases, a risk of fire or bodily harm. Damage or malfunction resulting from continuous operation beyond these limits, or from inadequate cooling breaks, is not covered by warranty. Always keep air inlets and outlets clear and unobstructed.

Machine description
A compact, countertop gashapon (capsule) vending machine with an illuminated lightbox display panel. The player inserts payment, turns the knob, and the machine dispenses a capsule. The game is based on chance and on the capsules loaded — the player cannot influence which capsule is dispensed.
Intended use
Indoor use only. The minimum age for use is 12; underage players should only use the machine under adult supervision.

Unpacking and preparation
Follow the unpacking instructions carefully to avoid damage. Inspect the exterior, interior and power cord for defects before connecting.
Commissioning (turning on)
Inspect the machine and power cord for damage and loose connections. Do not connect if any part is damaged. Close and lock all doors with the keys provided, connect the power cord to the machine and a suitable mains outlet, then switch on at the back — the machine starts automatically.
Operation
- In standby, the display shows the price (coins required) for one capsule.
- After payment, the display shows the remaining amount, then a countdown begins.
- The player turns the knob within 15 seconds to dispense a capsule. If not turned in time, it dispenses automatically.
- After dispensing, the machine returns to standby and shows the price again.
Display readout: standby shows the price; after payment, remaining credit then a dispense countdown; a flashing fault code (FFFF–FFEE) signals a fault (see Error codes); the menu shows setting items A001–A00F.
Programming (menu and pricing)
Setting buttons K1–K4 are OK, DOWN, UP and BACK. Press OK to enter the menu (shows A001–A00A), DOWN/UP to select, OK to enter a setting then UP/DOWN to adjust, BACK to return one level and save / exit.
| Menu | Description | Parameters |
|---|---|---|
| A001 | Capsules dispensed — “OUT” (lifetime total) | 0000–9999 |
| A002 | Coins received — “IN” | 0000–9999 |
| A003 | Number of account clears | 0000–9999 |
| A004 | Price per capsule (multiplier) | 0001–9999 |
| A005 | Dispense delay time | 0000–9999 |
| A006 | Volume | 0000–0015 |
| A007 | Inventory (current stock) | 0000–0255 |
| A008 | Clear the account | Press OK to clear |
| A009 | Network mode | 0000=No · 0001=Yes |
| A00A | Inventory warning value | 0–11 (11 = 00FF) |
| A00B | Empty the cabinet | Press OK — motor runs until empty |
| A00C | Motor protection sensitivity | 0=Off · 50–200 (default 50) |
| A00D | Payment mode | 0000=Coins · 0001=QR |
| A00E | Motor power-off delay | 0000–5000 ms |
| A00F | Price multiplier (pulse value) | 0001–9999 |
Important: enabling A009 (network mode) makes A004, A005 and A007 invalid — if a coin/bill acceptor is installed, do not turn on A009. Pricing: the final price is A00F × A004 (a multiple of the pulse value). Example: one pulse = 50 and you want 100 → set A00F = 50, A004 = 2. Stock: A001 is the lifetime total; A007 is current stock — update A007 after every refill.
Maintenance
Refilling capsules
- Open the door.
- Pull the drawer out.
- Load the capsules.
- Update the stock count in the menu (A007).
Replacing the poster
- Open the door.
- Press the two clips on the back cover.
- Remove the old poster and fit the new one.
- Push the back cover back in and lock it.
Adjusting the turntable (50–100 mm capsules)
- Loosen the three fixing screws by hand before adjusting; tighten them again afterwards.
- 50–70 mm capsules: set the turntable to the centre position, aligning the vertical edge with the screws.
- 75–100 mm capsules: rotate the turntable to its maximum position.
- 100 mm capsules: remove the two springs to prevent dispensing failures.
Error codes
| Code | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| EEEE / EEEF / EEFF | Main board error | Restart the machine. If it recurs, contact the manufacturer for repair. |
| EFFF | Coin slot error — loose wiring or wrong NO/NC setting | Check for a stuck coin; check the coin-slot feeder circuit and NO/NC setting. |
| FFFF | Capsule jam — sensor blocked | Check whether the sensor is blocked; check the sensor wiring is not loose. |
| FFFE | No capsule — no signal after the motor ran 15+ s | Check stock and refill; press BACK (K4) or restart; if the motor does not turn, the motor wire is loose or faulty; if many capsules dispense after restart, replace the sensor. |
| FFEE | Stock empty — program stock is 0 | Set the inventory (A007). If FFEE persists in network mode, check the antenna is extended and set inventory again. |
| Coin won’t insert | Coin slot jammed or damaged | Open the coin slot and clear any foreign matter; if nothing is stuck, contact after-sales. |
Frequently asked questions
Can the machine be set to free play? Yes — use the menu options or the payment-mode setting.
Can I adjust the volume? Yes — set it in menu item A006 (range 0–15).
Do I need to update the stock after refilling? Yes — always update A007, otherwise the inventory warning and FFEE error will not work correctly.
Decommissioning (taking out of service)
Switch off at the back of the machine and remove the plug from the socket to disconnect the power completely. Do not leave the machine unattended while connected to the mains.
Precautionary measures
Indoor use only. When installing, avoid: damp/wet areas; proximity to flammable or volatile materials; sloping or uneven surfaces; blocking emergency exits, fire extinguishers or other emergency equipment; locations with heavy vibration. Switch off the power during repairs to avoid electric shock or short circuit. Do not disassemble, alter or modify the machine without our permission. Carry out regular inspection and maintenance.
