With our wifi enabled machine upgrade you can interact even more with your customers. Gamecredits can be added from anywhere in the world through any means you want simply by accessing the machine’s secret url or website address. Since activation or adding of credits is done remotely YOU decide how or when the user gets to play.
This works with any website front-end and you can fully integrate it into your own website or payment gateway system.
Naturally customers can use their own phone for activation, or you can connect the machine to any system you like.

When the customer agrees to be added to the mailing list you simply have your system make a background call to the machine’s unique website address and credits are added automatically.

Simply add a QR code to your machine or place it somewhere nearby. Have your customer scan the matrix and you are all set. Customers can be sent to your website or your payment gateway ; when they have paid your payment provider or have visited your website confirmation page simply have it point to the machine’s unique URL and credits are automatically added to the machine.
Webdesign on remote servers or provider integration is not included. Our engineering team can work with your designers to help build your custom solutions.
HOW DOES THIS WORK INTERNALLY ?
Internally the machine calls a specific website address once every 3 to 5 seconds (this is called “pinging”). The wifi module reads the output on this website address and expects to see a one digit number. (example : 0 , or 1 , or 6). If it sees a 0 (zero) nothing is done. If it sees for example a 1 it adds 1 credit, if it sees a 4 it adds 4 credits. It is that simple. When you host this URL yourself just make sure the one digit is reset to zero after each call. (you can verify that the machine made the call through it’s unique identifier code)
Normally the wifi module is pointed to a website address on the customer’s server as this allows the customer full control and ownership of the data. If needed you can also use the MadeforArcade servers to “ping”. That way the machine gets it’s own website address. Each time you call this (secret) website address a credit is added to the machine. A monthly fee applies if you want to use MadeforArcade servers instead of your own.
